Product update #1
Some of the changes we’ve done in the last week to Astrolytics.
Ramón Echeverría
As we continue to evolve and improve our desktop and web analytics software, we're thrilled to introduce you to some of the recent enhancements we've made to the platform. This is the first blog in our series of product updates that we will be writing weekly with updates to Astrolytics.
UI Update
To start with, we've updated the dashboard site with a more modern design. We hope it brings an overall better experience.
We have also revamped our landing page. We still have some work to do, but we hope it gives Nucleus visitors a more modern feel for Nucleus.
Better UX to add email patterns in White label apps
With regards to the product itself, we improved the process of adding email patterns for allowed users in the white label version of Nucleus.
Time frames are now saved in local storage
We understand how frustrating it can be to lose track of timeframes when navigating between different dashboards. To alleviate this, the page now saves the dates you select on each dashboard view in your local storage. This way, when you switch between dashboards, your timeframe stays right where you left it.
New blog!
While we have been focused on improving our platform, we have also paid attention to our blog. It has undergone a design overhaul, aligning it with our new look and feel. Moreover, we've added a couple new articles. Going forward, we aim to write and share new blog posts each week. If there's a topic you're interested in, particularly related to web/desktop apps and analytics, let us know!
Dashboards
We've also identified and rectified some discrepancies in the users charts. We found subtle errors in some queries that calculated the number of active/new/non-new users and sessions. It should now show the correct data. Furthermore, we've also added the total number of sessions to the sessions chart for enhanced visibility.
Login too frequently
We fixed a bug that was causing the app to ask users for login credentials too frequently. We hope that’s not an issue anymore.
Astrolytics is on Twitter
Finally, we are excited to share that we are now on Twitter! We'll be sharing updates, insights, and industry news on this platform. We would be thrilled if you could join our Twitter community by following us: https://twitter.com/astrolytics_io
